This week on #FacesofFavour, we sat down with Digital Content Creator, Speaker, and friend of Favour, Aisha Johnson, who has recently been using Favour to help manage her stress while working from home. Check out the full Q+A below!

Q: Tell us who you are, where you’re from, and what you do.

A: My name is Aisha Beau Johnson, I live in New Jersey about 15-minutes out of New York City and I am a digital content creator and speaker!

Q: How would your friends describe you?

A: Hmm, my friends would definitely describe me as the compassionate one. I wear my heart on my sleeve, and am always doing what I can to make sure they're okay. I'm also very silly and love to make people laugh and enjoy themselves.

Q: What's one thing your passionate about? 

A: I am very passionate about inspiring and uplifting others to see the beauty and the potential within themselves. I strive to achieve this through my writing, and motivational speaking. Especially on my new podcast, Re-Written which is all about self-love.

Q: What does self-care look like to you?

A: Self-care comes in so many different forms. I think it's a matter of what my particular needs are in that moment. Sometimes, self-care is a beauty pampering session with a good mani/pedi. Or, it's saying no to plans so I can rest and recharge. It's writing in my gratitude and manifestation journal, or decompressing by watching an episode of Real Housewives after a long day!

Q: How have you integrated Favour into your everyday routine, and  when do you use Favour?

A: I like to use Favour as I work during the day. So early afternoon or maybe in the morning to help me chill out a little as I tackle some big projects and deliverables.

Q: What are some of your at-home wellness tips right now?

A: Finding time to unplug is key. Now that we're at home, it's so easy to stay plugged to your phone. But it's necessary to take moments to yourself and to truly relax. I also suggest trying to stay active and physical in some way. Now that a lot of us don't have a commute and only go out to grocery shop, we need to incorporate movement more than ever. So, taking a walk outside for some fresh air (at a distance of course), or doing a simple yoga/workout routine in the living room. It helps with stress and boosts your energy!

Q: What’s your current favorite song?

A: "Do It" by Chloe x Halle! If we were having a "real" summer, this would definitely be the song of the summer. It's a nice feel good bop.

Q: How do you do yourself a Favour?

A: I do myself a Favour by listening to my needs and honoring them. Sometimes it's tough, but prioritizing "me time" goes a long way.
